IMA, Lucknow appeal to Govt to take precaution to reduced the air pollution level and issue advisory in this regard to all schools in Lucknow for restriction of outdoor activities.
NEW DELHI: Air pollution has become so hazardous for health that many cities in India like, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna and Lucknow are facing acute problems. The most dangerous aspect of this scenario is that AQI level in many places has crossed more than 400. According to the doctors and health experts, if it reaches to this point, it should be considered very serious and perilous.
Indian Medical Association, Lucknow has issued this advisory to the government of UP should also take it very seriously because the capital city, Lucknow has also been reached the dangerous mark. Office bearers of the association has also earnestly appealed to the government that this issue should be taken very seriously. If we don’t take it seriously, the health implication will be far greater than our expectations.
Dissemination of knowledge and awareness regarding every kind of pollution should be made of paramount important. According to the world data of WHO, millions of people have died in India due to air pollution in recent years. And the situation is very alarming.
IMA, Lucknow has taken a vow to start the clean air movement very soon. On children’s day, 14 November, it is going to give a slogan to grant a right to breadth freely to children, who are the greatest sufferer of this menace in our country and all over the globe.
President of IMA, Lucknow, Dr. PK. Gupta and Dr. JD Rawat, Honorary Secretary have jointly issued an appeal to the govt. from the Association that the problem of air pollution should be taken with utmost attention in the day to day activities of the govt.
